Mausoleums

Today, many families choose a mausoleum as the final resting place for their loved one. The Diocese of Metuchen has several mausoleums with both indoor and outside crypts. Here non-Catholics can be entombed with their Catholic spouse or family members.

Peaceful and prayerful places, the Diocese's mausoleums feature inspiring statues which remind individuals of Christ's death and resurrection. They are tranquil places of reflection on the past and hope of eternal life.

Holy Cross Burial Park has three mausoleums - Holy Cross, the Blessed Virgin and the newly completed St. Anthony of Padua.

Resurrection Burial Park includes two mausoleums – the Twelve Apostles and the Risen Christ.

The cost of mausoleum space is comparable to inground burial, with double crypts starting at less than $5000.

The mausoleums at both Holy Cross and Resurrection also have niches for cremains.
