Mission
In our Catholic schools, students grow to understand the roots of their faith and their responsibilities as Christians. They are prepared to become the moral leaders of tomorrow. They are challenged to improve the world by sharing Gospel values and living Christ's message of salvation.
The Catholic Schools Office provides policy direction, leadership and support to pastors, principals and teachers who are entrusted with the spiritual, academic and social development of our students.
There are nearly 15,000 students in the 41 elementary schools and 6 high schools in the Diocese of Metuchen which encompasses Middlesex, Somerset, Hunterdon and Warren counties.
This website is designed to inform and inspire principals, teachers, parents, and, of course, young people. We hope that after viewing this site families of prospective students will be reassured that our Catholic schools offer academic excellence, moral values, community spirit, and a faith foundation that will endure a life-time.
