Men and women who teach in the Diocese of Metuchen are called to serve the students who attend our Catholic schools. This call to service includes a commitment to nurture the children, facilitating the spiritual, emotional, physical and academic growth of the child. For our teachers, education and teaching is considered a ministry and not just a profession. Academic excellence in a faith-filled environment is one of the hallmarks of a Catholic education which our teachers strive to provide each and everyday to each and every student. Teachers must possess a minimum of a Bachelor Degree in order to qualify for a position in the Diocese and, most significantly, be self-actualized persons committed to spreading the Good News of Christ on earth.
