The 2010 Bread & Roses Ball, celebrating its 20th Anniversary, took place at the Bridgewater Marriott in Bridgewater, NJ on Saturday, April 17, 2010.
Carmel Gettings, a parishioner of St. Magdalen de Pazzi in Flemington, was honored with the Immanuel Award for her extraordinary service to the community. 
The evening began at 6:00 p.m. with a cocktail reception.
Back by popular demand was Monte Carlo style gaming!
The gaming tables were open during the cocktail reception to allow guests to get in a few games before the dinner program.
Gaming resumed after dinner. The silent and live auctions offered unique andexciting items for bidding by guests.
The dinner program began at 7:00 p.m. and included the Immanuel Award presentation to Carmel Gettings.
Tickets for the 50/50 raffle were available for purchase throughout the evening.The drawing took place at 10:30.

The music of The Dave Neith Orchestra lured dancers to the dance floor throughout the evening.

Proceeds from the Bread & Roses Ball help support the social service programs of Catholic Charities, Diocese of Metuchen.
Catholic Charities is an effective, vibrant, accessible social service agency that welcomes all and seeks to meet the needs of the poor and vulnerable throughout our Diocese.

The Bread & Roses Ball Committee, included volunteers from the Hunterdon, Somerset and Warren County communities, and is chaired by Deborah Stout. Committee members include: Very Rev. Sylvester J. Cronin, Diane DiFrancesco, Laurine J. Hamilton, Bernard & Laurie Hanafin, Joan Lorah, Louis & Carol Mitschele, Rev. Michael C. Saharic and Christopher Venditti.
