Many companies have matching gift
programs for charitable donations. Some companies will match their
employees’ donations of cash or securities to the Diocese. Other
companies will match to our diocesan high schools, some to Catholic
Charities and still others to The Foundation for Catholic
Education. During the Capital Campaign of 2000, over $1,000,000 was
matched to the different entities of the Diocese by these companies.
A Matching Gift is a
win-win situation. Your pledge and the company match will increase
the dollar amount received at no extra cost to you! The minimum amount a company will match is usually $25. If you have any questions, please call the Office of Development of the Diocese of Metuchen at 732-562-2437.

SECURITIES
TRANSFER
The Office of
Development coordinates the transfers of securities’ gifts donated
by our parishioners. The gifts may be in the form of stocks, bonds
or mutual funds. The Diocese of Metuchen maintains an account at
Merrill Lynch for the transfer of stocks. The transfer of bonds and
mutual funds are handled on an individual basis. The contact person
for the transfer of securities at the Diocese of Metuchen is Helen
