Description:
The St. Francis Cathedral, Metuchen, Singles Group, will sponsor Fool for Christ, A One-Woman Play, on Saturday, March 1, 2008 at 8:30PM in the St. Francis Community Room on the lower level. Doors will open at 8:00PM. The one-hour play will be followed by Q & A and refreshments. (Alternate date, if needed, is April 26, 2008.)

Fool for Christ, will be performed by professional stage actress Sara Melici, who becomes Dorothy Day as she tells the story of one woman who, during the 1930s depression, spent many days in jail for promoting social, economic and political justice, and formed the Catholic Worker movement which fed many of the NYC unemployed. Dorothy Day’s courage, dedication and strong faith in God shows us how one person can stand up and make a difference. Please join us for an inspirational evening during the Lenten season.
