Stewardship Formation & Workshops

All are invited to take advantage of the stewardship education opportunities offered throughout the year by the Office of Stewardship.

Stewardship Gatherings – These quarterly workshops provide practical tools and information on a variety of stewardship-related subjects. Each quarter, the same workshop is presented on a Saturday morning and a Tuesday evening to allow participants to choose the most convenient day and time.

Stewardship Symposium – The purpose of this annual event is to revitalize member parishes and introduce new parishes to the rewards of stewardship. It brings together stewards from around the diocese for a day that includes prayer, witness, workshop presentations by notable speakers, and the chance to connect with other parishes as well as representatives of neighboring dioceses.

In Your Parish – While respecting the uniqueness and individuality of each parish, the Office of Stewardship is available to assist Pastors and Pastoral Councils in developing a plan of action to initiate or enhance parish stewardship. Some of the services we can provide at your location are:

• Stewardship education for adults, youth and children throughout the year.
• Provide a variety of tools for assessing the needs of the parish.
• Assist parish with their commitment processes for Time, Talent & Treasure by offering reproducible materials, lay witness training, and suggested timelines for Stewardship Renewals.
• Assist parishes in volunteer/ministry management, including attracting volunteers, developing job descriptions, and leadership training.
