Catholic Identity
Catholic Schools are a vital part of the teaching mission of the Church. It is through our Catholic Schools that the faith is fostered and transmitted to new generations. Because Catholic Schools promote the importance of integrating the Catholic faith with the educational process, the Church considers schools the primary vehicle for promoting its teaching ministry. Catholic schools in the Diocese of Metuchen admit students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. The schools do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national, ethnic origin, or the sexual orientation of a student's parents/guardians in administration of educational policies, admission policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school administered programs. Curriculum
Our Catholic Schools do not adopt, but rather adapt, the various subject areas from the State of New Jersey Curriculum Content Standards. Accreditation
Catholic schools in the Diocese of Metuchen are accredited by the nationally-recognized AdvancED School System Accreditation. AdvancED is a school accrediting agency that conducts rigorous, on-site external reviews of PreK-12 schools and school systems to ensure academic growth. The agency has a long history of accreditation expertise with over 100 years of knowledge and experience regarding school improvement. Affordability
We strive to keep education affordable and accessible for all families who want their children to have the advantage of a Catholic School education. For families unable to afford the entire cost of a Catholic school education, help is available through the Foundation for Catholic Education Scholarship Program, which was established to provide financial support to aid low- and moderate-income families.
