Office of Cemeteries
Catholic Cemeteries in the Diocese of Metuchen exist to meet the needs of individuals and families before, at the time of death and burial, and throughout bereavement. By setting aside a holy place for burial we provide a fitting environment for full liturgical celebrations. Just as in life, we believe that in death the human body deserves to be treated with respect and dignity. We also foster a type of remembering that is enlightened by faith and sees death as a bridge to the communion of saints. Our bonds with the believing are not broken by death.
Office of FinanceThe Office of Finance assists the Bishop, diocesan councils, parishes, schools and committees in running their respective organizations with an administrative ideal, and uses the administrative tools of budgeting, reporting, financial comparisons, and forecasting in line with the parish ministries and parochial projects that they run.
Office of Human ResourcesThe Diocese of Metuchen’s Office of Human Resources is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing personnel policies, programs, and activities for diocesan staff, which includes administering a comprehensive benefits program to more than 2,200 employees throughout the diocese.
Office of Information Services
The Office of Information Systems is responsible for the development, implementation and support of computer-based administrative systems and associated facilities, and for the management, control, operation, tuning, optimization and technical support of the systems and facilities which are operational on the central administrative servers. The office is also responsible for the provision and support of the desktop office systems of the Diocese in most of the central support units.Office of Insurance
The Diocese of Metuchen Insurance Program is brokered through Meeker Sharkey/Porter & Curtis LLC. Sphere Risk Partners is our Third Party Administrator (TPA) and handles all claims for the Diocese.Office of Properties & Facilities Ownership and Management
The Office of Property & Facilities Management serves and assists parishes, schools and diocesan facilities within the Diocese by providing assistance with all aspects of property.
