• Receive written or verbal instructions from Pastor.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as: painting, plumbing and other maintenance activities using appropriate hand tools and equipment.
• Daily/ Weekly cleaning of Church, Office building, CYO building, etc.
• Prepare rooms for meetings/events; breaks down conference room at conclusion of meetings; stores furniture and equipment
• Detects and reports defective materials, structural problems and any unsafe or questionable conditions to Pastor
• Maintains facility grounds and equipment in a clean, safe, and orderly condition; follows prescribed safety regulations; utilizes safety gear and protective equipment as required.
• Cuts lawns using power mower. Trims and edges around walks, flower beds and walls using clippers, weed cutters and edging tools.
• Assists with snow removal by shoveling walks and uses snowplow for driveways and parking lots. Spreads salt on public passageways to prevent ice buildup.
• Performs other related duties as assigned
