Each year the Respect for Life Office, in conjunction with the Offices of Education, Discipleship Formation for Children, Family Life and Youth Ministry, offer four educational chastity events for diocesan 8th grade Catholic school and religious education students (youth groups are also welcome).
International chastity speaker, Pam Stenzel, speaks to the students about the physical and emotional risks of sex outside of marriage, sexually transmitted diseases, teen pregnancy, abortion, rape, media messages and the myths of contraception.
Teams of high school students serve as peer mentors throughout the day.
